Design of Immersive Learning Experiences
This week's post is about designing virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) experiences for learners. I have curated a selection of best practices in the design of immersive learning experiences based on my research. I am also sharing a video I created that discusses three ways you might utilize VR or AR in a K-12 educational setting. In the video I highlight one of the uses through an example using a middle school math objective. I share some of the best practices through my brief design, development, and implementation plan for the use of an augmented reality tool to assist teachers in teaching students about geometric solids and volume.
